I decided to post some of my Fashion Sketches.I am not a professional artist this is just a fun way for me to refreance on some of my designs and to look back as I learn more and more about the Fashion World and start to Design actually designs my sketches. Enjoy theme as much as I do everyday.

Future Heritage Life style Vision of Sri Lanka

A new sri lankan life style would give a better place for the words such as simplicity mental relaxation, cleanliness which would cause a complete demolition of the present life style. The people would be wearing urban cool,simple contemporary clothes that would be the results of careful innovations done giving a great concentration to the historical costumes. These also would be the innovation reflecting local material and craftsmanship such as hand loom, batik, beeralu.. Etc. 

   

The activities of the people would be woven around the definition of a relaxed life where they would be meditating,going to cafes and having drinks and food sitting and talking to friends having sensitive interactions which would enrich the mutual relationship. The people would gather along the coastal line in the restaurants tasting the satisfaction of relaxed mind in the form of seafood. The attitude of the people would create an open hostility between the present life and the future as the complexity would be replaced by simplicity,the state of being busy and dirty would be replaced by relaxation and cleanliness respectively. The people would be surrounded with innovation that would result through the combination of creativity and cultural values in every scope of life. 

Jersey project - Design for Calvin Klein

Textured jersey project is about designing a capsule collection of lounge wear for a Calvin Klein brand.

This project helped me to research and learn about jersey materials,lounge wear and also to see how Calvin Klein is different to other brands.

This is an excellent project which helped me to improve my design skills.

I'm designing men's & women's wear so here I have done two mood boards for him & her

Manufactured Garment

Outer wear jersey long sleeves jacket including rib neck line ,front opening zipper and front zip pocket combined with black stripes panels, back yoke has contrast stitch lines and used ribs for hem of the jacket. Used military colour fabric for front facing as a designer detail
